Here are just a few of the highlights from a certainly unforgettable year.
While most events raised the white flag in surrender, these 3 took 2020 head on for the benefit of their respective industries.
One of the last events to hold out earlier in the year, it's no surprise that Traffic & Conversion Summit made plans to make their event happen, rain or shine, virtual or face-to-face.
Amidst announcements from the NBA and SXSW, T&C founders held out up to the wire, that their San Diego marketing mega conference would go on.
Unfortunately, like so many, Traffic & Conversion Summit cancelled their March event with a promise to reschedule as soon as feasibly possible.
In December, the event goes live with over 60 sessions. And you can tune in from the comfort of your home. The big question... will Sir Richard Branson show up for this one?
What could be better than a live summit?

That said, it might be worth saving that rewatch of Pleasantville for another night. Turns out Reese Witherspoon is turning heads this year with AdWeek On Demand.
Check out her cover story where Jason Lynch tells her journey making the move from actor to producer, and her motivation to tell female-centric stories.
This niche event in the lead generation space was originally slotted as a mid-summer meetup complete with poolside mastermind at the Palazzo in Las Vegas. Event owners and industry leaders were faced with a tough decision, when their venue cancelled on them.
Honoring the investment their 220+ attendees had already made, event founders opted to deliver twice the goods for the one price.
They held a virtual "Sleeping Giants" event in July, going deep into the latest strategies & tactics in lead generation (founded in timeless business principles). And then, they rallied a group in the hundreds in early September, for an in-person event at The Venetian in Las Vegas, defying the odds and putting on an incredible show.
"Can I buy my ticket for next year already!? This year marked my first year attending Reload and words cannot do it justice for what I got from it..." one attendee shared.
